Can't read the file you just downloaded? Fear not!

There are two ways in which you can solve this issue:

1. While using Excel to preview your data:

By default Excel processes the txt / csv files with Charset Windows (ANSI).
This is how it works when you open the file by double clicking on it. Excel takes over and applies the default charset.

In order to choose the correct charset, open a new blank sheet and choose the charset 65001: Unicode (UTF-8).

The import should be successful and you will be able to see the data splitted into columns.

2. While using Google Sheets to preview your data:

Select the first column, where all the data is stored.

Go to Data and click Split text to columns.

Select comma or semicolon in order to split the data, and voilà!
